Latest weather warnings on the Costa del Sol
The Costa Del Sol has been placed on yellow alert for high winds today, tomorrow and Thursday. Previously an amber alert was issued for Wednesday, but this has now been downgraded. Yellow is the least severe of the three warning levels.
AEMET weather alerts (Spanish National Meteorological Agency) are specifically for strong winds on the coast throughout Tuesday January 25th, Wednesday January 26th and Thursday January 27th. Winds are expected to reach force 7, around 60 km/h. The waves during a force 7 storm can reach 3 meters.

Red: Take action. Severe weather conditions are expected. Red means people in affected areas need to act now to protect themselves and others from the impact of the weather. Widespread damage, displacement, power outages and life-threatening hazards are likely.
