It covers leave for the birth or adoption of a child, for serious illness or injury, to care for a seriously ill family member, and for domestic violence, sexual assault, harassment or harassment.

Beginning January 1, 2023, most employees and large employers in Oregon will begin paying paid vacation premiums. Employees will pay 60% and large employers will pay 40% of the 1% contribution rate. Paid vacation contributions will go into a trust fund, which in turn will provide paid vacation earnings for employees beginning September 3, 2023.
